1. Overview
PIXADO sells digital subscriptions to an AI Thumbnail Generator. As soon as you subscribe, you receive immediate access to digital content (AI generation credits, ThumbScore™ analysis, etc.). For this reason, we operate a no-refund policy on billing periods that have already started, except in the cases listed below.
2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
PIXADO offers a voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee on first-time subscriptions. This guarantee applies regardless of where you reside.
If you have not yet used any feature of the Service (i.e., you have not generated a thumbnail, run a ThumbScore™ analysis, or made any API call) and you are within 14 days of your first subscription, you may request a full refund by emailing contact@pixado.ai.
At checkout, you explicitly consent to immediate delivery of digital content. This guarantee is offered in addition to any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws — including, where applicable, Québec's Consumer Protection Act, other Canadian provincial consumer protection legislation, US state consumer protection laws, or equivalent rules in your jurisdiction.
3. No Refund for Used Subscriptions
Once any feature of the paid plan has been used (a single thumbnail generation, a ThumbScore™ analysis, an API call, etc.), no refund is issued for the current billing period. This applies to:
- Monthly subscriptions
- Annual subscriptions (no pro-rata refund mid-year)
- Plan upgrades
- Add-on credit purchases
You can cancel anytime from your account dashboard. Cancellation prevents the next renewal — you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
4. Exceptions Where We Issue Refunds
We will issue a full or partial refund in the following cases:
- Duplicate charges — if you were charged twice for the same period due to a technical error.
- Failed service — if a documented outage prevents you from accessing core features for more than 72 consecutive hours, we issue a credit equal to the affected days, or a refund on request.
- Unauthorized payment — if your card was charged fraudulently. Please report immediately to your bank and to contact@pixado.ai.
- Billing error — if you were charged the wrong amount because of a pricing display error on our side.
5. Affiliate Commission Reversals
If a refund is issued on a transaction that generated an affiliate commission, the commission is automatically reversed from the referring affiliate's balance.
6. Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback with your bank, please contact us at contact@pixado.ai. We usually resolve issues within 48 hours. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in account suspension and a permanent ban from the Service.
7. How to Request a Refund
- Email contact@pixado.ai from the email address on your PIXADO account.
- Include your account email, invoice/receipt number, and the reason for the request.
- Our team will review and respond within 3 business days.
- If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.
8. Free Trial & Demo
At the moment, PIXADO does not offer a free trial. We provide a fully interactive demo on our website and AI Studio so you can evaluate the product before subscribing.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply to subscriptions purchased after the effective date. Subscriptions started under a previous version remain governed by that version.
